My schedule next semester is going to rule! The best part about this is that I get out of class on Fridays at NOON so I can go travel and play shows on the weekends wherever my heart desires.
ARGD4060 - Advanced Layout
- Required for graduation. Apparently we spend the whole time making a portfolio book or something.
ARGD4110 - Portfolio Project
- Exit show! We spend the whole semester working on a single project and then we have a big party at the end and show it off. You guys are all invited! I have a pretty solid idea of what I want to do, and if it all works out I’ll be able to combine my music life and my school life into one unstoppable force!
ARHI3035 - 16/17th c. Northern Art
- Required. I’m taking this one ‘cause it’s at a good time. I don’t care at all.
ARST2810 - Hypermedia
- I’m only taking this because I have to be a full-time student in order to get the HOPE scholarship. But it seems pretty cool. I like to think about media in creative ways! Hoping I can focus on The Internet.
PEDB1230 - Beginning Raquetball
- Another unnecessary course. Only taking it to even out the time I have to get up in the mornings, and also because I kind of enjoy starting my day with a competitive sport!

Bloggin' for the sake of bloggin'
Things I have been thinking about lately:
- Today I register for my final semester of college. I’m super excited. Everyone says I will miss it, and I probably will. But the next chapter of my life is looking really fun.
- I really don’t care about Annibale Carracci (NOBODY DOES).
- Illustration is more fun than typography.
- You can’t choose your muse (learning this the hard way).
- There is so much to do in preparation for my new album coming out and it’s starting to overwhelm me. I’m not sure when to post the cover art or when to post a song from it… and now that I think of it there’s actually not that much to do. Maybe I’m just all worried ‘cause I don’t know if I’m doing it right. Maybe I should remember that I’m not required to do anything the way that “real” bands do it. Maybe I should get back to trusting myself and just leap forward and never look back. Yeah!
I will post the cover and title next week. I promise!
